Chris A. Shemza has been specializing in graphic design, promotion and marketing for over a decade. His professional experience in design and marketing covers a diverse collection of markets. From real estate to packaging, entertainment and research organizations.

Chris acquired a great deal of experience in design and production for printed projects, web based interactive sites and multimedia. Through the years, he has taught many professionals the techniques and methods that make Photoshop the industry standard for graphic design and image manipulation.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the California State University, Northridge and the Computer Graphics / Visual Communication Certificate from the University of California Extension in Los Angeles.

In 1994 he joined the International Technical Packaging Company (INTEP) where he served as a Marketing Coordinator. Responsible for the company’s marketing plan, brochures, website invitations and coordination of the sales staff.

In 1997, he joined Sachse Real Estate Company. His job as the Marketing Analyst & Webmaster included Coordination of research information, promotion, creation and maintenance of the company’s website.

Between 1999 and 2002, Chris worked as the Art Director and general manager of a Los Angeles based advertising firm, Virtual Concepts Corporation.
His duties included project execution, from concept to delivery of print, web and multimedia projects. Supervision of design and programming staff, coordination of production schedules with clients and press checks and creation of Marketing and business plans for strategic projects.

In 2002, Chris also served as Art Director for the Northridge campus of California State University’s daily newspaper, The Sundial.


Adobe Photoshop has always the centerpiece of every professional project. Whether designing for the Internet or for printed brochures, Photoshop has been an invaluable tool and one should know it as well as possible. Today, besides running his own advertising firm, CAS Production, Inc., Chris teaches Photoshop to working professionals.
